There are peaks and valleys to any long-term relationship. Some valleys are deeper than others. To keep it alive, you've got to walk a fine line between the vision you have for your life and the life you have created with your partner. It's about being selfless while maintaining your own goals and dreams. Step too far on either side, and you're off "the edge of a knife."
